Liquid Movement is a non-profit brand fueled by the wake, snow, skate and surf communities. While attending Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and becoming heavily involved in the snowboarding community, founder Carter Cornelius began brainstorming ideas for how he could take his passion and love for these board sports and provide the opportunity for local youth to shred.
Established in 2013, we are rider owned and operated, and based out of Charlotte, NC. We operate with little to no overhead, allowing us to put more towards spreading the shred to the youth. As we continue to move forward, we will always be releasing new designs and products influenced and fueled by wake, skate, snow and surf lifestyles.
Liquid Movement’s mission and purpose is to provide the opportunity to experience board sports first hand to local youth who may not have the means or opportunities to experience the thrill of board sports. Our dedication and passion is driven by the experiences, the memories, and the directions in life we have been fortunate enough to have and share amongst ourselves over the years. We want to give back to that same community that has already given us so much.
100% of our profits are dedicated to go towards sending local youth to wake and skate camps this coming summer and the many summers that will follow. As we continue to grow and move forward as a non-profit brand, we will be adding snow sports into the mix during the winter months.
We will be working closely with local wakeboard, skateboard and snowboard camps to host our camps as well as local youth organizations such as Ada Jenkins in Davidson, NC and the Boys and Girls Club. Ada Jenkins is a youth center that’s vision is “to support the people of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and South Iredell County toward becoming better educated, healthier, and/or economically self-sufficient, empowering them for a better tomorrow.” We will be working along side them to send their youth to our camps this summer. www.AdaJenkins.org
More details coming soon about our camps for this coming summer as we continue to meeting regularly with the local surf shops, skate parks, and youth organizations. Keep update on our progress and news on our website at www.liquidmvmt.com or our facebook page www.facebook.com/liquidMVMT
