Earthwing is just about to roll out some new products. Starting with the new 3D mold Supermodels, and Supergliders next week, to quote them ther are “tapping the keg full of exciting new products in decks, and wheels. Drink up, you will love the way it tastes”.
The Drifter has been with us since 2005 as the standard in tech-sliding, street, and park. With continual upgrades, and design details, this new line up involves 3 sizes that will span any terrain, style, preference, or rider size. We have a new mold in each with an aggressive concave, and ample wheel clearance. The 33, 35, and 37″ will feature the amazing artwork of JJ Rudisill of Brooklyn as a series. The 33 is shown as an example of what to expect from the other two. The 39″Yoni pro-model will be revealed soon.
We could not find a way to improve the legendary Superglider,so we just changed the graphics to one of JJ Rudisill’s best.
We went all out with a full year of race mold prototyping to come up with this gem. The result is a multi radius concave along the rails, as well as rail to rail that locks you in like no other deck. Each foot has it’s own sweet spot. There is a healthy “W”that runs from instep to instep. The wheel fenders add clearance and leverage for more control, and the cool part of this mold is that the same fender geometry is mirrored at the instep so your heels feel just as locked in as your toes. The topmount, and drop-through have identical side-cuts. The topmount allows the rider to perch right over the wheels without having to worry about cutouts with the advantage of a low set up. The design also allows the dropthrough to take advantage of the fenders with a healthy lip right a the cut-outs.
