NOS Energy Drink Canada launches Get Schooled, a promo where you could see yourself winning a trip to the Whistler Longboard Festival and skate with IGSA 2011 #1 Ranked Patrick Switzer.
It is really encouraging for the sport to see that major brands (NOS being part of The Coca-Cola Company) taking a legitimate interest in the sport. But the most interesting thing is that the marketing guys at NOS have recognized that the longboarding population is big enough that they can run a promo offering such a prize. Not that they are new to the lonboarding scene. Earlier last year they had a choose your own adventure longboard video.
