Los Angeles, CA: Someone re-invented the wheel. The patented Shark Wheel geometry promises to offer performance advantages over traditional wheels. One thing is for sure. It’s a radical departure from what we expect a urethane wheel to look like.
For one its wave-like design allows for less surface area to touch the ground, but is reinforced by each module, guaranteeing wheel stability for a faster ride. The grooves significantly reduce hydroplaning by channelling liquid out from under the wheel, allowing for a firm contact patch with the ground. Also, the rounded edges allow water to pass around the wheel, providing unparalleled grip over wet surfaces.
Shark Wheels Kickstarter project hasn’t even hit its halfway mark yet has already received twice it’s funding goals meaning that the patented technology will soon be in mass production.
