Albuquerque, NM: The inaugural Collegiate Longboard Championships will take place May 30, 31 & June 1 in Albuquerque, NM. College longboarders from around the nation will participate in a team competition that will be comprised of distance, slalom and downhill events. Courses have been chosen for each event that will enable longboarders with intermediate level abilities to compete. The winning team will be crowned the 2013 Collegiate Longboarding Champions. Individuals who are not members of a school team will also be able to compete for the individual championship.
Both the International Distance Skateboarding Association (IDSA) and the International Gravity Sports Association (IGSA) are giving their full support behind this new event governed by the Collegiate Longboarding Association (CLA).
