Based on the info we’ve got it’ll be raining or at least wet so we decided to postpone the event till next Sunday. The SMBC is an event for everyone, noobs and veterans, so we wanted to make sure all are comfortable skating with the weather condition. That doesn’t seem to be the case tomorrow. See you on the 21st
You can RSVP and invite your friends on the facebook event page.
(RSVPing will give us give us an idea on numbers)
Toronto Canada: October 21st at 1:00pm Longboardism will be hosting the 33rd Super Mellow beach Cruise (SMBC). This is the last SMBC for the 2012 season so don’t miss it. It’s a great event for people of all skill level to meet like-minded people. Hope to see you there!
Meet at the Toronto Library beaches branch — 2161 Queen St. East. Click here for map.
We’ll leave at 1:15pm and go ride the oh-so-smooth “bike” path, soak up the sunshine, socialize, skate, socialize and skate some more… If you arrive late, don’t worry. Just skate down to the path and you’ll find us cruising back and forth along the beach. After the cruise is over, those who need further mellowing can get together for a skate all the way to the downtown core.
Thank you sponsors!
We’d like to thanks the sponsors, Daddies Board Shop, Landyachtz, and Rayne who are sending us some winter warming swag to give away. The great news is that it’s not a contest and even a total noob is in the running for prizes (as long as you show up and wear a helmet).
