Onda announces their latest model, the Vibe

Orange County, CA: Onda is back in 2012 with a new model. A compact version of their core model which we featured last year (with video). It may not be a longboards as we know it but with pot hole proof wheels (140mm), a weight of only 9 lbs and delam not being an issue, it is a serious consideration as a commuting device.

 From ONDA:

It’s time to VIBE! The ONDA VIBE is the newest addition to the ONDA line. The inspiration here is to take our same great ONDA technology and put it in a new, compact, and lightweight design. The ONDA VIBE is our lightest and smallest board, making it the most nimble and agile ONDA on the street! The VIBE has smaller, wider wheels than our CORE model, providing an even lower center of gravity and a great surface for carving and sliding. Don’t worry though, you can still order a VIBE with classic 180mm huge wheels. The ONDA VIBE is great for cruising, carving, downhill, and sliding. It’s easy to learn on but great for advanced riders.
