The fifth annual Dragon Skate Race is coming! DSR is a skate competition and philanthropy fundraiser held annually at the University of California, Irvine, by the residing members of Beta Theta Pi. The event aims to give an exciting day to both skaters and non-skaters alike, with a downhill skate competition, guest appearances by national race teams, and a handful of the best names in boarding coming to show and sell what they’ve got.
And this year’s winner was Arbor team rider Jimmy Riha.
DSR promotes the cause of the Free Wheelchair Mission, and all proceeds will be donated to support its amazing effort. The Free Wheelchair Mission is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inexpensive wheelchairs for the impoverished disabled in developing nations. The cost to create one of these low cost wheelchairs is $59.20, so every penny counts!
